Pallets and wood packaging are an essential component in the transportation and storage of stackable goods as well as heavy and valuable objects.

Disposable pallets are usually rendered unusable after transportation, and have to be disposed of appropriately. But also reusable pallets such as the familiar Euro pallets have to be removed from service at some point, and disposed of due to damage or natural wear and tear. A similar fate awaits all wooden packaging, for example wooden crates for vegetables, large fruit crates and any other packaging made from wood.
The metal used in the production of such packaging, such as nails, screws, staples or also entire fittings, represent a challenge when shredding pallets. Our shredders are robust enough to cope easily with such extraneous materials. They are simply shredded along with the product, after which they are efficiently separated from the wood granulate using magnet separators.
The wood chips thus generated are ideal for thermal utilisation. This also applies to the residual timber generated during production of the pallets and packaging made from wood.
Adapted to your exact requirements, our shredders can achieve throughput capacities from 500 kg/h up to 1,300 kg /h (roughly equivalent to 30 to 75 pallets per hour).
